She also hosted the variety show It's Showtime at noon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. Her father, James Ernest Curtis-Smith got married to Ojales back in 1982. Jasmine, her younger sister is also an actress. Their father had an older half-sister called Clare died in 2007 at the age of just four months, due to a heart disease.
